Chattanooga ends Dayton’s 26-game home winning streak

Chattanooga’s Greg Pryor made two free throws with 5 seconds left to beat Dayton 61-59 Saturday at UD Arena and end the Flyers’ 26-game home winning streak.

Scoochie Smith drove for the game-tying shot in the final seconds but did not get a shot off at the buzzer.

Dayton falls to 7-2. It had not lost at home since January 2014, a stretch of 682 days.

Kendall Pollard led the Flyers with 20 points but made 8 of 16 free throws. As a team, Dayton made 14 of 26.

Chattanooga led 29-24 at halftime, but Dayton pulled ahead early in the second half. The game went back and forth in the final minutes.

Chattanooga made 7 of 15 3-pointers.
