Flyers escape with victory over Bowling Green

Dayton ended the game with a 15-2 run to escape with a 56-52 victory over Bowling Green on Tuesday at UD Arena.

The Falcons (5-2) led for most of the game but scored only two points in the last 10 minutes. The Flyers trailed 50-39 at the 10:17 mark and didn’t take the lead until Kendall Pollard made 1-of-2 free throws with just over two minutes to play.

Dayton (7-1) won its third straight game against a team from the Mid-American Conference and improved to 7-1 overall.

Devon Scott led Dayton with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Jordan Sibert had 11 points.
