Flyers win seventh straight to earn first-place tie in A-10

The No. 24 Dayton Flyers routed George Mason 98-64 on Saturday at EagleBank Arena, stretching their winning streak to seven games and pulling into a tie with Virginia Commonwealth atop the Atlantic 10 Conference.

Player of the game: Charles Cooke hit 10 of 13 shots from the field to score 24 points.

Stat of the game: The Flyers made 14 of 22 3-pointers (63.6 percent) and shot 62.9 percent from the field.

Fact of the game: This is believed to be Dayton's highest-scoring road performance since it scored 110 against Loyola in 1973.

Big picture: The Flyers are 19-3 and 9-1 in the A-10. VCU lost to George Washington on Saturday is also 9-1.
