Wright State had hoped to win the automatic NCAA bid awarded to the Horizon League tournament champion, but the Raiders lost to Milwaukee in the semifinals Saturday. Dayton (14-14) lost in the second round of the Atlantic 10 tournament.
Wright State and Dayton each received an at-large bid to the Women’s NIT when the field was revealed late Monday.
WSU (24-10) will play Wednesday at Michigan. Dayton visits Western Kentucky on Thursday. Game times will be known today.
