A waiting list is being set up for fans interested in purchasing tickets in the Ohio State sections through OSU for the Buckeyes’ game vs. Alabama in the Sugar Bowl on New Year’s Day.

Those fans should sign up at the following link on the OSU web site: http://go.osu.edu/2015SugarBowlTix

Ticket prices start at $195, including service charges. OSU receives approximately 13,000 tickets for the game, and should general public tickets be available after priority requests from season ticket holders, faculty, staff and students are filled, a public sale will begin with individuals on the waiting list.

Priority ordering for donor groups, season ticket holders and Varsity O Football members is still ongoing and will conclude at 5 p.m. today. Faculty, staff and student lotteries will begin Tuesday.

The fourth-seeded Buckeyes (12-1) face the top-ranked Crimson Tide (12-1) at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 1 in New Orleans. No. 2 Oregon and No. 3 Florida State meet in the Rose Bowl on Jan. 1. The semifinal winners face off Jan. 12 in Arlington, Texas.

• Public tickets are not available through the Sugar Bowl, but fans can purchase tickets from other fans through the Sugar Bowl ticket exchange vendor, Primesport, at www.primesport.com/d/sugarbowl
