Eaton assigned to Missoula Osprey

SPRINGFIELD — Kenton Ridge graduate Adam Eaton will start his professional baseball career with the Missoula (Mont.) Osprey, a Rookie Advanced level team in the Pioneer League.

Eaton, a center fielder who just completed his junior year at Miami University, was drafted in the 19th round Tuesday, June 12, by the Arizona Diamondbacks and signed Thursday.

Missoula starts its season June 21 at Helena, Mont. The Pioneer League has eight teams throughout Montana, Idaho, Utah and Wyoming.
