The Chicago Cubs and Kyle Schwarber are having fun.

Schwarber, a Middletown High school grad, and some of his teammates poked fun at the slugger's 2011 performance as a member of the Purple Pizzazz, the high school's show choir.

The Cubs posted a video to their Twitter account.

Schwarber has been the story of the World Series vs. the Indians. The left-handed slugger returned to action for Games 1 and 2 after not playing all season due to a knee injury. He’s hitting .429 (3-for-7) and went 2-for-3 with two RBIs in the Cubs’ win in Game 2.

Because he was not medically cleared to play in the field, Schwarber will be limited to pinch-hit duty for Games 3, 4 and 5 in Chicago. The series, which is tied at 1-1, resumes at 8 p.m. Friday.

The Cubs have not won the World Series in 108 years.
