Series history: Davidson leads 5-3. The Flyers won 65-64 last season at UD Arena and won 89-82 in overtime in their last game at Belk Arena in 2017. The Wildcats avenged that 2017 loss by beating Dayton 73-67 in the quarterfinals of the A-10 tournament two weeks later.

Coaches: Anthony Grant is 30-26 in his second season at Dayton. Bob McKillop is 573-346 in his 30th season at Davidson.

Last game: Dayton lost 69-68 at home to Virginia Commonwealth on Saturday. Davidson beat Saint Joseph's 80-72 on Friday.
