Dayton Dragons announce tornado relief donations from fans

The Dayton Dragons on Tuesday announced tornado relief donation totals for the six-game homestand last week at Fifth Third Field.

Fans donated 144,069 pounds of non-perishable food items that were transported to the Foodbank, Inc.

Fans donated $28,449, which has been given to the American Red Cross, Dayton chapter.

The Dragons beat West Michigan 3-2 on the road Tuesday night. They open a seven-game homestand Friday night vs. Fort Wayne.
