The 1957-58 team has the second-best mark (23-3). That was also the last Dayton team to win at least 15 games in a row in one season. It won 16 straight. Dayton, which has not lost since Dec. 21, can match that with a victory in this game. … Dayton is the first team to start 13-0 in the A-10 since Rhode Island in 2017-18. The last team to start 14-0 was George Washington, which finished the conference schedule with a perfect 16-0 mark in 2006.

About Duquesne: The Dukes seek their first road victory against a ranked team since Feb. 27, 2014, when they beat No. 10 Saint Louis. They have never beaten a top-five team on the road. Their last victory against a top-five team in Pittsburgh came against No. 4 Providence in 1966. Dambrot is 0-18 in his career against ranked teams. All but two of those games were played on the road or on a neutral court. … Duquesne leads the A-10 with 5.8 blocks per game, and it ranks fifth in the country in block percentage (16.1). … The top scorer off the bench is guard Tavian Dunn-Martin, who averages 10.0 points per game and leads the team with 59 made 3-pointers.
