Dayton Flyers recruiting update: Two scholarships open for 2019

Three-star prospect puts Dayton in his final four

Dayton Flyers coach Anthony Grant has raved about how well and fast his team has bonded in the offseason, newcomers mixing with veterans as if they have played together for years. Last weekend, the team added another layer of bonding with a game of paintball.

Dayton fans won't get to see the players in action until an exhibition game against Capital on Nov. 2 — the annual Red and Blue game won't be played because of the renovations at UD Arena — but they will know these players well by the end of the 2019-20 season. That's because 11 of the 12 scholarship players on the roster, three of whom are sitting out this season as transfers, will be around for this season and next season.
