Dayton Flyers recruiting update: Two transfers pick other schools

Two transfers the Dayton Flyers have contacted committed to other schools Thursday.

Western Michigan transfer Brandon Johnson picked Minnesota, while Tulsa transfer Jeriah Horne chose Colorado.

A 6-8 forward from Chicago, Johnson averaged 15.4 points and 8.1 rebounds as a redshirt junior last season. He’s a grad transfer who can play right away.

Horne averaged 11.1 points and 5.2 rebounds as a redshirt junior. He played his freshman season at Nebraska, sat out a year and then played two at Tulsa.

Dayton has three scholarships open for the 2020-21 season.
