» SPORTS TODAY: Dayton women win again
"This is the third straight year where F.C. Cincinnati has provided this great opportunity for our team to compete against a professional side," Dayton coach Dennis Currier said. "The speed of play is always faster with the pro players and forces our team to make quicker decisions on the ball. College soccer has proven to be a major feeder into this professional system and this is a great opportunity for exposure as well."
FC Cincinnati plays in the United Soccer League. It finished sixth in the Eastern Conference last season at 12-10-10. The new season begins March 17, and the game against Dayton falls during the team’s bye week.
Dayton finished 9-8-2 last fall and 6-2-0 in the Atlantic 10.
