RELATED: Pollard seeks injury-free senior season
The goal has always been to get Pollard ready for the start of the season, and he’s progressing toward that goal.
“He’s doing more and more than he’s ever done,” Miller said. “He’s conditioning five days a week right now, which is a good sign. In strength and conditioning, from a weight-room perspective, he’s up to four days a week. He’s going through his own program right now. We’re hoping by mid-September we’ll be able to look at him on the floor again. Obviously, no contact. We’re hoping by the end of September we’ll be able to work him into non-contact practices. If all goes well, we’re looking at Kendall being ready to practice in October. We’re not in a rush.’
