Cincinnati Bengals tight end Tyler Eifert was not at practice today for the portion open to the media, making it unlikely he will play Sunday against Dallas.

Eifert also missed Wednesday’s practice with a back injury he suffered in Monday’s practice.

Three other players were not in uniform today but were present on the field — starting right tackle Cedric Ogbuehi, offensive lineman Jake Fisher and wide receiver James Wright.

Fisher was limited Wednesday with a back injury, while Wright has taken each Thursday off to rest his surgically repaired knee.

Ogbuehi’s absence is curious, as he was not on the injury report Wednesday.

We’ll know the reason for Ogbuehi’s absence later this afternoon when the team releases its official practice report.
