It took Cleveland 52 years to get the happy ending it wanted. It only took a month for ESPN's documentary 'Believeland' - which documents the city's sports woes the last half century - to get a joyous re-write after the Cleveland Cavaliers won their first NBA title Sunday.

ESPN Films Twitter account announced Monday the documentary will have a new ending and will air again June 30 at 8 p.m. on ESPN. Instead of ending with the Cavaliers Game 6 loss in the 2015 Finals, with fans shrugging "maybe next year" and a tired LeBron James walking back to the locker room, the ending will feature the Cavaliers beating Golden State in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals for the league championship.

ESPN hasn't stated what was added to the documentary. The original features interviews with Cleveland sports and media figures, celebrities and others reflecting on the city's close calls with greatness over the decades, including Arsenio Hall, ESPN writer Wright Thompson, who wrote about Cleveland in an enterprise article for the company's websit, and former Esquire writer Scott Raab, who wrote a book about LeBron James.
