Ohio State rolled out the scarlet and gray carpet for some of the top recruits in the country Saturday, a group that included some of the top seniors-to-be from the area.

Fairfield offensive tackle Jackson Carman, the 247sports composite No. 1 player in the state for 2018, was on hand in an Ohio State jacket and signed autographs for some young fans in the stands.

Springfield defensive lineman/tight end/quarterback Leonard Taylor also made the trip to Columbus along with teammate Isaiah Gibson, a defensive lineman in the class of 2019.

All of the local players were in good company as some of the best players from around the country endured some pregame showers to get a taste of game day at Ohio Stadium.
