Springfield defensive tackle Isaiah Gibson has released his final top 10.
The three-star 2019 prospect is still considering (in alphabetical order) Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa State, Kentucky, Maryland. Michigan State, Minnesota, Purdue, Rutgers and Wisconsin.
Gibson previously named a top 10 in May, but that did not stop more offers from rolling in from some big-time programs.
The Yellow Jackets, Spartans and Badgers were not in the first top 10 but have offered in the past month. They replaced UC, Louisville and West Virginia.
He told this media outlet he planned to release an updated top 10 and to make his commitment public on Sept. 19.
Gibson is the No. 39 prospect in the state of Ohio according to the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Teammate Moses Douglass is among area players who have already committed. He chose Kentucky in April.
Also already committed are Northmont teammates Gabe Newburg (Michigan) and Jestin Jacobs (Iowa) while Bellbrook’s Hayden Bullock intends to play for the Air Force Academy.
Nearly 20 area players head into the summer boasting at least one Division I scholarship offer, and that group could expand as players get a chance to work out in front of more college coaches during camp season.
