The Bengals picked Wilcots in the eighth round of the 1987 draft out of Colorado. He started every game during the 1988 Super Bowl season and played in 60 games during his four years with the team. Wilcots played one season in Minnesota and one in Pittsburgh before retiring in 1992.
The Emmy Award-winning broadcaster joined CBS Sports in March 2001 as a game analyst.
