Former Dayton Flyers coach Brian Gregory returned to campus Sunday and Monday as his South Florida Bulls team practiced at UD’s Cronin Center.
South Florida had a game in Philadelphia on Saturday night, losing 82-80 in overtime at Temple, and play at Cincinnati on Tuesday. Instead of returning home to Tampa, Fla., they traveled to Ohio and were allowed to practice at UD.

Video on the South Florida Instagram account on Monday shows Dayton great Bucky Bockhorn meeting with Gregory and the team.
This is Gregory’s second season at South Florida. The Bulls finished 10-22 last season but are 12-4 this season.
"We are making progress in some tangible things that we need to celebrate every day with our guys," Gregory told the Tampa Bay Times in December, "so they understand that not only is our program based on being successful as a unit, but also improving and developing individually as well."
Gregory coached Dayton from 2003-11. In eight seasons, he was 172-94.
