Matt Allaire, a Chaminade-Julienne graduate who has built a loyal following on Twitter with creative and timely gifs, produced one his most popular videos yet Tuesday.

As of Wednesday, the video Allaire posted on his RT_Ohio Twitter account, had been shared more than 19,000 times. A couple of Cincinnati Reds players were watching the video on their phones in the clubhouse Wednesday before a game against the Phillies.

The plays shown feature the Cardinals’ Stephen Piscotty. He was hit by the ball three times in the fifth inning Tuesday in a game against the Cubs. First, Jake Arrieta nailed him with a pitch. Then a throw by Wilson Contreras got him. Finally, a throw by Javy Baez hit him in the helmet.

Allaire, a freshman at Mount St. Joseph University who also runs FlyerFaithful.com, combined video of the three plays with audio from Scott Sterling, a fictional character with Studio C, an internet sketch comedy show.
