It appears as though Cincinnati Bengals fans will have to wait at least one more week to Pro Bowl wide receiver A.J. Green back in action.

The Bengals are listing Green as doubtful for Sunday’s game against Pittsburgh at Paul Brown Stadium.

Green return to practice this week after missing the last three games with a hamstring injury suffered early in the Nov. 20 loss to Buffalo, but he was a limited participant in all three sessions, including Friday’s walk-through.

The doubtful designation in NFL parlance means a player has a 25 percent chance of playing, but no Bengals player listed as doubtful has suited up this year.

Even with Green out, the Bengals should have some added depth at wide receiver with the expected return of James Wright, who is listed as questionable with a knee injury.

Only two players listed as questionable this year have been inactive on game day, although one was Wright with a hamstring injury back on Nov. 14 in New York against the Giants.

Also questionable for Sunday are long snapper Clark Harris (groin), safety Derron Smith (thigh) and tight end C.J. Uzomah (calf).

Defensive end Wallace Gilberry, who did not practice all week and has missed the last two games with a calf injury, joins Green as doubtful.
