Highly-rated running back joins Ohio State football recruiting class

Two verbal commitments in two days wasn’t enough for Ohio State.

The Buckeyes added a third when Evan Pryor announced his pledge Monday night.

A four-star prospect from William Amos High in Cornelius, N.C., Pryor is the No. 6 running back in the country according to 247Sports Composite rankings for the class of 2021.

His final six were Oklahoma, USC, Penn State, North Carolina and Georgia (along with Ohio State).

Pryor committed just a few hours after Devonta Smith, a defensive back from Cincinnati La Salle.

Jakailin Johnson, a defensive back from St. Louis, started the commit parade Sunday when he announced he will be a Buckeye.
