HCYA 67, Franklin 64: Luke Kennard of Franklin (38 points) and HCYA's Justin Jackson (35) delivered as none other in the marquee matchup.

Bowman Academy (Ind.) 87, 22ft Academy (S.C.) 83: Guard Arthur Haggard III upped his recruiting interest by scoring a game-high 23 points in a spirited 10 a.m. opener. Haggard also buried five treys. Justin King and Anthony Cole each added 20 points and Davaon Dillard 18 in a balanced attack.
L.J. Westbrook and Brandon Chauca each had 18 points to lead 22ft Academy. Marcus Lewis added 17 points.
Roger Bacon 83, Col. Africentric 51: Carlas Jackson hit 5 of 7 treys and scored 19 points to lead the Spartans in an impressive Game 2 beat-down. Austin Frentsos added 16 points and Cody Niesen 12.
Bacon (11-1) has lost only to Elder and is among the state’s best bets to contend for a Division III state title.
Jaquan Harrison led the Nubians with 20 points and 10 rebounds.
Walnut Ridge 59, Summit Country Day 49: The Scots (11-2) gradually pulled away after trailing in the first quarter. Promising sophomore Tarik Wright had 17 points, 11 rebounds and a block.
Antonio Woods led Summit with 18 points and six assists.
Lakota East 57, Chaminade Julienne 37: Mitchell Mays scored 13 points and knocked down three treys in leading the streaking Thunderhawks (11-4) to their sixth straight win.
Alex White, a 6-7 junior center, added 10 points, seven rebounds and three blocks. He also had his nose broken late in the game after colliding with CJ’s Alan Vest.
CJ Riazzi paced the Eagles with 13 points, three rebounds and three steals. CJ (4-8) has lost three straight.
Col. Northland 49, Roselle Catholic (N.J.) 42: Northland raced to a 22-point lead and held on to take Game 5. The Vikings were led by Doug Taylor's 14 points and 13 rebounds. Jaylen Tucker added 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Chris Silva, 6-9, led Roselle with 13 points, nine rebounds and three blocks.
