Jefferson grad, Denver Bronco Cody Latimer arrested after reporting domestic incident

Jefferson High School grad and Denver Bronco Cody Latimer was arrested Monday when he called 911 to report he was the alleged victim in a domestic dispute.

According to Ch. 9 KUSA in Denver,  Latimer was slapped by his girlfriend Jaimee Rando, 25, who he has dated for three months. Rando admitted to slapping Latimer. Police discovered Latimer had an outstanding warrant for a traffic ticket from March 2015 when he wa cited for improper lighting on his vehicle/trailer.

Latimer was in Arapahoe County Jail on Monday night and paid $311.50 to settle the ticket Tuesday.

Latimer missed Broncos practice Tuesday, then released a statement per his Twitter account: "I reached out to the team on Monday to let them know of a personal issue that I dealt with over the weekend. I believe I handled it the right way, but I had no idea of the unrelated unpaid traffic ticket. That's completely on me, and I took care of that today. ... Back to football.
