New Dayton coach Anthony Grant kept two signed recruits in the fold: Jordan Davis and Jordan Pierce. Wright and Nahziah Carter asked for their release.
“We’re still actively involved in recruiting McKinley, but at the end of the day I don’t know what will happen with him,” Grant said Monday.
Wright ranked 158th in the class of 2017, according to 247Sports.com. Davis ranked 211th.
