A Northmont grad and former Miami University basketball standout, Hayes has played internationally since. He is scheduled to be joined by former area standouts Daequan Cook, Norris Cole, Chris Wright, Juwan Staten, Geron Johnson, Jaaron Simmons, Carol Edwards and others in the fund-raising event.

“Dayton is home,” Hayes said in a release. “Dayton has made me the man that I am today. I have been fortunate enough to use the talents I have been given to take me across the world. Those talents were groomed in my community and it’s my job to make sure I do what I can to uplift and elevate my community.”

Hayes, 31, currently plays in the Turkish Basketball Super League.
