Rachael Adams

Stats: Age 26, 6-2, 178 pounds, Indoor Volleyball, Middle Blocker
Adams will compete in Rio as a middle blocker. She lived in Cincinnati her whole life until she left Ohio to attend the University of Texas.
Adams graduated from Texas with a degree in communications and the ranking of No. 1 in the NCAA for hitting efficiency (.443).
Charles Conwell

Stats: Age 18, 5-9, 165 pounds, Boxing, Middleweight- 75 kg.
Conwell is listed as the youngest member on the U.S. Olympic Boxing Team. But the 18-year-old middleweight is used to being one of the youngest in a group, as he has seven older siblings.
Conwell graduated in June from Cleveland Heights High School, just three months after making the 2016 U.S. Olympic Team.
Tervel Dlagnev

Stats: Age 31, 6-2, 270 pounds, Freestyle 125 kg.
Dlagnev has been part of the U.S. Olympic wrestling team for eight straight years and is the holder of two bronze medals.
Dlagnev was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1985, but when he was four his family fled from the then-communist country. The 31- year-old wrestler went to high school in Arlington, Texas and then moved to Columbus in 2009, with his wife and two kids, to train at the Ohio Regional Training Center.
Nate Ebner

Stats: Age 27, 6-1, 215 pounds, Rugby, Forward
Ebner bleeds scarlet and gray after growing up in Columbus and attending Ohio State University. During his junior year, the rugby forward walked onto OSU’s football team.
Ebner also plays for the New England Patriots and was part of a Super Bowl championship in his third season with the team.
Kayla Harrison

Stats: Age 26, 5-8, 165 pounds, Judo, 78 kg.
This Middletown native won gold during the 2012 London Olympic Games and has plans to do the same in Rio. That year was the first time an American had ever won gold in the sport.
Harrison has triumphed thorough many hardships. Her first coach Judo coach, Daniel Doyle, sexually abused her from the age of 13 to 16. She told her mother of the abuse and a year later Doyle was sentenced to 10 years in the case.

Max Holt
Victor Decolongon
Stats: Age 29, 6-10, 198 pounds, Indoor Volleyball, Middle Blocker
Holt attended Purcell Marian High School in Cincinnati and then attended Penn State, where he majored in journalism and led his team to the 2008 NCAA championship.
Athleticism must run in the family, as Holt’s younger brother, Sam, also plays professional volleyball.
Carlin Isles

Stats: Age 26, 5-8, 165 pounds, Rugby, Wing
Isles was raised in Massillon and attended Jackson High School, where he set school records in 100-meter, 200-meter, 400-meter, and the long jump events. He went on to attend Ashland University.
Isles originally wanted to compete in the 2012 Olympics Track and Field events but eventually turned his attention to rugby instead.
In 2012, Rugby Mag dubbed Isles as “The Fastest Man in American Rugby”.
Abby Johnston

Stats: Age 26, 5-5, 135 pounds, Diving, 3m Individual
Johnston attended Upper Arlington High School, just north of Columbus, and then attended Duke University. She will begin her third year of medical school at Duke after the games are over in August.
Johnston has already competed once at the Olympics during 2012 in London. She competed in the Woman’s synchronized 3-meter springboard with her partner, Kelci Bryant. That year they took home silver in the event.
This year Johnston will compete in the 3-meter individual springboard event.
Josh Konieczny

Stats: Age 25, 5-11, 165 pounds, Rowing, Lightweight Men’s Double Sculls
Konieczny was first introduced to rowing during his freshman year of high school at St. John’s Jesuit in Toledo.
Konieczny grew up in a rural part of the state, about 20 minutes east of Toledo in a farming community. Part of his offseason training included stacking hay bales and splitting wood.
The 25-year-old's 2015 World Championship experience resulted in Konieczny coming in 8th place.
Erik Kynard

Stats: Age 25, 198 lbs., Track and Field, High Jump
Kynard graduated from Toledo Rogers High School in 2009. At the age of 17, he qualified to compete at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in 2008.
After high school he attended Kansas State and majored in Business Entrepreneurship. During his college years he became a two-time NCAA national champion in high jump (2011-2012).
Kynard competed in the 2012 Olympics and won silver in the high jump event.
Felice Mueller

Mueller grew up in Shaker Heights, a south east suburb of Cleveland. Mueller’s most recent World Championship experience was in 2014, when she went home with the bronze in the quadruple sculls.
The Shaker Heights native will compete in Rio with her teammate, Grace Luczak, in the Woman’s Pair Rowing event. The course will be 200 meters long.
Clayton Murphy

Murphy is a New Paris native who attended Tri-Village Local School. He continues his education at the University of Akron, where he will graduate in 2017 with a Bachelor in Business degree.
In June, Murphy turned professional and signed with Nike.

Jason Pryor

Stats: Age 29, 5-9, 175 pounds, Fencing, Epee
Pryor grew up in South Euclid, a suburb on the eastern side of Cleveland. He graduated from Ohio State University in 2009 with an English degree.
He will compete in the Individual Epee Fencing event at the 2016 games. Epee is a fencing event where the entire body is a valid target area to the tip of the weapon. No other fencing event considers the entire body as a target area.
