Ohio State pitcher taking #CelinaStrong message to NCAA baseball tournament after tornado tears into hometown

Ohio State pitcher Seth Lonsway will have more than baseball on his mind this weekend when the Buckeyes play in the NCAA tournament.

The lefty from Celina also figures to be thinking about his hometown as the recovery from Monday's devastating wave of storms continues all over the Miami Valley.

A team spokesman said Lonsway’s family home was not damaged by the tornado that hit Celina late Monday night, but the redshirt freshman plans to recognize his hometown with the message, “#CelinaStrong,” written on his hat.

Lonsway led the Big Ten with 122 strikeouts this season and carries an 8-4 record with a 3.65 ERA into the NCAA tournament.
