Applicants under 18 are encouraged to have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the permit contract, and they also must provide the required license and stamps.
There is a $50 non-refundable permit fee for lottery winners. They will have 45 days to construct their blinds; all blinds must be dismantled by March 15.

In the money: Mark Brumbaugh, pro walleye fisherman from Darke County, finished in the money at the Cabela's National Walleye Tour (NWT) Championship event on Lake Oahe, at Mobridge, South Dakota on Aug. 5. Brumbaugh came in 17th with a two-day catch of 17.15 pounds, good for a $4,000 check. He said he might also be getting tournament money from his boat sponsor, Lund.
