Kessler, whose future in Cleveland is becoming murkier as Kizer impresses, went 5-for-10 for 47 yards. Thirty of those yards came on one play.

Driskel completed eight of nine throws for 97 yards. He found rookie Josh Malone in the endzone for his lone passing score, and also scrambled 18 yards for a touchdown.

Yet despite their successes, none are slated to start on opening weekend. Andy Dalton has a stronghold on the quarterback spot in Cincinnati, while Brock Osweiler is the most likely option to start for the Browns, at least in the early season.
