Bengals-Bucs series history

Series History

• The Buccaneers lead 7-3 and have won six in a row.

• The most recent meeting between the teams was Oct. 10, 2010, at Paul Brown Stadium. Carson Palmer suprassed the 20,000-yard mark during the game but the announcement on the video board was met with boos because it came shortly after Palmer threw an interception that Tampa Bay’s Cody Grimm returned 11 yards for a touchdown. Palmer threw two other interceptions for the second loss in what would grow into a 10-game skid.

• The Bengals’ six-game losing streak against Tampa Bay is their longest active one against any team.

• Cincinnati has not won in Tampa Bay since its first trip there in 1983.

• The Buccaneers’ 35-0 blanking of the Bengals in the 1998 season finale was the first road shutout in Tampa Bay history.
