Bengals-Colts isolation booth

McAfee, a six-year veteran, ranked third in the league in net punting average (42.8), seventh in gross (46.7) and first in kickoff touchbacks (69) to earn his first Pro Bowl berth, while Jones led the NFL in kick returns (31.3) and finished fourth in punt returns (11.9).

But Jones, who was named first team All Pro by the Associated Press on Friday, was snubbed for the Pro Bowl, which could be extra motivation for him this afternoon.

“I’d like to get in the end zone,” Jones said. “I’m tired of hitting 50 or 60-yarders. My goal this week is to get into the end zone, by any form or fashion.”

Jones has five career punt returns for touchdowns, which ranks second among active players.

McAfee had some fun with his counterpart, and fellow University of West Virginia product, earlier this week on Twitter, writing, “Hey boss @REALPACMAN24 … Your defense needs you 100%.. How about no KOR or PR at all this week? It’s the holiday season and all that jazz”.

McAfee then followed that tweet with “I even named my pet goldfish PacMan in honor of you because it’s fast … And tough … And athletic … Soooo … No KOR/PR?”

The Bengals don’t use Jones for all punt returns, depending on field postion and how many snaps he played on the drive leading up to the punt. Cincinnati special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons said nothing will change today just because it’s the playoffs.
