Anthony Collins, Cincinnati OT
With Pro Bowl left tackle Andrew Whitworth unlikely to play, Collins will get his second start of the year. Collins completely shut down future Hall of Famer Julius Peppers in the season opener at Chicago, and tonight he’ll square off Oliver Vernon, who leads Miami with 4.5 sacks.
Michael Johnson, Cincinnati DE
Last year’s team leader in sacks hasn’t brought down a quarterback since Week 3 against Green Bay, but Miami leads the league in sacks allowed and Johnson will be going against an experienced second-year tackle in Jonathan Martin.
Charles Clay, Miami TE
Clay has caught a touchdown pass in three consecutive games and is on pace for 66 catches and 779 yards, which would be the second highest totals in franchise history. Tight ends have been a problem for the Bengals even when their linebackers were healthy, which will be far from the case tonight.
Lamar Miller, Miami RB
If the Miami offense wants to slow down the Bengals pass rush and keep from adding to the Dolphins’ league-worst 32 sacks allowed, an effective run game will help. Miller only has 343 yards, but he’s averaging 4.5 yards per rush.
Cameron Wake, Miami DE
The two-time Pro Bowler had one of his career-high 15 sacks in last year’s game against the Bengals, and while his sack numbers are down in 2013 (2.5 so far), he is having another solid season overall.
