The Reds will host “Reds Rookies Day” at Great American Ball Park on Aug. 27.
Over 500 Reds Rookies Baby Club members and their parents will take part in a parade before the game, the team said in a release.
The Kroger Fan Zone will be transformed into the “Baby Zone” with pregame events ongoing. There will also be giveaways.
The Reds Rookies club is for children three years old and younger. Memberships cost $15. More information can be found here.
Additionally, the Reds announced they recalled pitcher Luke Farrell and purchased the contract of Alejandro Chacin from Triple-A Louisville. Outfielder Phillip Ervin was sent down to Triple-A, while pitcher Blake Wood has been designated for assignment.
