The University of Dayton released new details Thursday about the Flyer Fan Fest that is standing in for the Red and Blue Game this year. The annual scrimmage will not take place because of renovations at UD Arena.
The Fan Fest tailgating event featuring men’s and women’s basketball players will start at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 14 in Parking Lot C between UD Arena and Welcome Stadium.

The men’s and women’s teams will arrive at 11 a.m. and be introduced at 11:20 a.m. An autograph session will begin at 11:30 a.m.

As of Thursday, there were five food trucks committed to the event: C’est Cheese, Greek Street, El Meson, Stuffed at Zays and Ghostlight Coffee. Lee’s Chicken will also have a booth at the event.
Tickets for the 1 p.m. football game vs. Campbell will be on sale at the event. The basketball teams will be introduced between the first and second quarters of the game at Welcome Stadium.
