Fields is expected to petition the NCAA to allow him to play in 2019 without sitting out a season.

Fields was the No. 2 prospect in the nation in the 2018 class. He appeared in 12 games for the Bulldogs as a true freshman, completing 27 of 39 passes for 328 yards and four touchdowns.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Fields is from Kennesaw, Ga. Ohio State was reported as a potential landing spot for Fields almost as soon as he announced his decision to leave Georgia.
