HS Roundup 10/21: Beavercreek girls roll past Miamisburg

Another challenge, another win.

Beavercreek’s march to a second consecutive state title and undefeated season continued Monday night, as the girls soccer squad defeated Miamisburg, 5-1.

‘Creek will face St. Ursula on Thursday night at Bellbrook. St. Ursula beat Lebanon 1-0 on Monday.

As district tournament play continued for area girls soccer teams, area schools shined.

In Division I play, Carroll defeated Springboro, Centerville took down Sidney and Lakota West beat Ursuline Academy. On Thursday, Lakota West faces Carroll at Lakota East and Centerville faces Loveland at Lakota West.

In Division II play, Anna, Alter, Monroe, Oakwood and Tippecanoe all won. It took Badin two overtimes to overcome Summit Country Day. On Thursday, Alter and Anna play at Brookville; Oakwood battles Wyoming at Norwood; Badin battles Monroe at Ross and Tippecanoe faces Indian Hill at Lebanon.
