HS Roundup 1/8: Beckman three-pointer lifts Fenwick past Carroll

Emily Adams turned in a double-double performance and Hannah Beckman drilled a three-point basket as time expired to give Fenwick a 36-33 upset victory versus Carroll in girls basketball on Wednesday.

Adams finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds to pace Fenwick.

Megan Leraas and Julia Keller scored nine points apiece for Carroll.

The win snapped a three-game losing skid and bumped Fenwick to 6-8; Carroll dropped to 10-3.

Girls Basketball

Beavercreek 36, Miamisburg 32, OT: Ashley Vaughn spurred a defensive effort for ‘Creek in the rally victory. Abby Carter led all scorers with 18 points in the loss for ‘Burg.

Centerville 64, Lebanon 48: Cotie McMahon poured in 30 points to lead Centerville. Kendall Folley and Logan Mueller each had 12 points for Lebanon.

Edgewood 50, Ross 17: Chloe Butler put up 19 points and Zoe Stephen added 12 to pace Edgewood.

Fairmont 52, Springboro 40: Madeline Westbeld netted 20 points and Kierra Thornton 12 for Fairmont, which improved to 9-1 overall. Jordan Hobbs tallied 17 points for ‘Boro.

Lakota West 56, Lakota East 40: Nevaeh Dean recorded 13 points, Chance Gray 12 and Kailyn Dudukovich 10 for Lakota West, which moved to 7-0 in conference play.

Mason 45, Fairfield 35: Tori Williams finished with 20 points and 11 rebounds in a losing effort for Fairfield.

Piqua 50, Troy 47, OT: Tylah Yeomans tallied 16 points and Karley Johns and Kenzie Anderson added 11 apiece for Piqua.

Princeton 60, Middletown 43: Sa’Mill Calhoun had 12 points with eight rebounds in the loss for Middletown.

Sidney 40, Greenville 28: Kelsey Kiser scored 13 points and Samantha Reynolds added 11 points with 12 rebounds to pace Sidney.

Springfield Shawnee 35, Triad 31: Tori Malicki totaled 11 points with eight rebounds for Shawnee and Lydia Spitzer sealed the win with a pair of foul shots in the closing seconds. Frani LeVan scored 14 points for Triad and Cati LeVan added 10 points with 11 boards.

Tippecanoe 34, Butler 29: Katie Salyer and Kendall Clodfelter each converted on clutch foul shots down the stretch to help Tippecanoe improve to 9-0 in league play.

Wayne 87, Trotwood 41: Wayne opened the game on a 17-2 run to improve to 12-1 overall and 6-0 in league play.

Xenia 60, Fairborn 58: Kamea Baker drove the length of the court and dropped in the game-winning bucket at the buzzer for Xenia.

New Miami 77, SCPA 35: Deanza Duncan chipped in 22 points and Trey Robinette 18 for New Miami. Jordan Robinette added 10 assists and Elijah Faulkner 12 rebounds.
