HS Roundup 12/3: Carroll stuns Miamisburg with second-half rally

Carroll blanked Miamisburg 18-0 in the third quarter on the way to a 49-42 rally victory in boys basketball on Tuesday.

Ryan Seltsam and Steven Chapman led a balanced attack for Carroll with nine points apiece.

Anthony Coppock led ‘Burg with 13 points.

Boys Basketball

Bellbrook 60, Beavercreek 43: Ryan Chew recorded 21 points, Gave Pavlak tacked on 14 and Braedon Gedon hauled in 13 rebounds for Bellbrook. Yousef Saleh chipped in 14 points to lead ‘Creek.

Butler 71, Piqua 43: Tyler Montague turned in 22 points and Cooper Justice added 11 to lead Butler. Riley Hill had 11 points for Piqua.

Carlisle 59, Dixie 51: Isaiah Dean finished with 19 points, Cash Ridinger added 14 and Nolan Burney hauled in 11 rebounds to lead Carlisle.

Cin. Christian 61, North College Hill 39: Kareem Swain racked up 18 points, Logan Woods added 14 and Kai Vance 10 to pace Cin. Christian.

Fairfield 62, Northwest 40: Zavian Ricks finished with 16 points and Deshawne Crim 12 to lead Fairfield.

Lebanon 64, Little Miami 37: Blake Lamb totaled 19 points with 11 rebounds off the bench to lead Lebanon and Milo White added 18 points.

Middletown 51, Fairmont 48: Will Williams posted 11 points and Middletown rallied with a 22-10 swing in the final quarter to topple Fairmont. Kaleb Hall had 18 points for Fairmont.

Milton-Union 51, Newton 49: Blake Brumbaugh paced Milton-Union with 17 points and Nate Brumbaugh added 14. Kleyson Wehrley tallied 15 points and Mitchell Montgomery 13 in a losing effort for Newton.

New Miami 81, MVCA 51: Jordan Robinette poured in 26 points and Deanza Duncan and Trey Robinette added 20 apiece to pace New Miami, which tallied 19 steals and 16 assists in the win.

Sidney 75, Fairborn 60: Sidney held off a big Fairborn rally for the victory. Bailey Snapp scored 15 points for Fairborn and Julius Pullen added 13.

Versailles 56, Troy Christian 33: Michael Stammen scored 17 points to pace Versailles. Brady Clawson led Troy Christian with nine points.

Girls Basketball

Fort Loramie 46, West Liberty-Salem 13: Taylor Ratermann drained four three-pointers on her way to 14 points and Fort Loramie closed the game on a 29-6 run to improve to 4-0.

Kalida 38, Coldwater 32: Kate Leichty totaled 18 points and Lauren Gilliland and Annelise Harlamert each added 13 rebounds in the loss for Coldwater.

Madison Plains 45, KIPP Columbus 35: Riley Davis led Madison Plains to its first victory with 13 points.

New Bremen 50, Anna 38: Kaylee Freund finished with 16 points and Madison Cordonnier added 12 for New Bremen. Ella Doseck scored 17 points for Anna.

Lebanon 2362, Miamisburg 2204: A.J. Hild rolled a 396 series in a losing effort for Miamisburg.
