DISTRICT TOURNAMENT

Division I at Glenview: Lakota East turned in a 300 to win the district tournament. Brock Aten led the way with a 71 and Ty Sylla and Peyton Houston each added a 76. Jordan Gilkison of Springboro earned medalist honors with a 69 to qualify individually, along with Centerville’s Eric Cherubini (70) and Shane Ochs of Carroll (71).

Boys Soccer

Alter 3, McNicholas 1: Austin Brogan, Joel Bockelman and Will Schwieterman each scored a goal for Alter, which secured a share of the Greater Catholic League Co-Ed title with Carroll.

Bellbrook 1, Valley View 0: Logan Hessinger knocked in the lone goal for Bellbrook off a Reed Hepner assist.

Miamisburg 2, Springboro 2: Ben Sundermann and Collin Lovett accounted for the Miamisburg goals.

Monroe 9, Eaton 0: Zachary Hamdan had three goals with one assist and keepers Adam Duff and Luke Folger split on the shutout to help Monroe wrap up a Southwestern Buckeye League Southwestern championship.

Girls Soccer

Bellbrook 1, Valley View 0: Bailey Sedlak scored the lone goal for Bellbrook off a Sydney Hollingsworth assist.

Catholic Central 7, Southeastern 0: Lizzie Bruce drove in two goals with one assist and Caitlin Foley added two assists with one goal to help Catholic Central move to 9-3.

Coldwater 4, Ottoville 2: Ava Giere, Brianna Keller, Mallory Kremer and Megan Sigler scored one goal apiece for Coldwater.

Lehman Catholic 8, Delphos St. John’s 1: Lindsey Magoteaux drove in three goals with one assist and Ava Behr added two scores to lead Lehman Catholic.

Mechanicsburg 1, West Jefferson 1: Kasey Schipfer scored the lone goal for ‘Burg on a rebound in the first half.

Twin Valley South 7, Franklin Monroe 0: TVS tied a school record for wins in a season with their ninth consecutive victory. It also marked the seventh shutout of the season.

West Liberty-Salem 4, Greenon 2: Emily Hollar, Grace Estes, Rachel Davis and Kayla Cole each had a goal and Julia Ames added two assists for WLS.

Girls Volleyball

Alter 3, McNicholas 2: Alter took the final set 15-13 to earn the win. Cora Cunningham led the way with 12 kills, six blocks and two aces. Kennedy Roshong added 25 digs and AnnaBelle Hacker seven blocks.

Coldwater 3, Marion Local 2: Lauren Gilliland chalked up 17 kills with 15 digs and Annelise Harlamert had 39 assists for Coldwater.

Eaton 3, Monroe 0: Olivia Baumann recorded 13 kills, Carsyn Lammers 22 assists and Libby Giffen 17 digs to help Eaton improve to 20-1.

Fairborn 3, Piqua 1: Ella Whalen and Hani Sampson each tallied 12 kills, Samantha Hart added 16 digs and Katelyn Knapp 20 assists for Fairborn.

Fort Loramie 3, Botkins 0: Maya Maurer totaled 19 assists, McKenzie Hoelscher six kills and Macy Imwalle five aces to help Fort Loramie finish the regular season with a 12-0 record in conference play.

New Knoxville 3, Parkway 0: Carly Fledderjohann had 25 assists and Haley Fledderjohann and Ellie Gabel added seven digs apiece for New Knoxville.

Troy 3, Sidney 1: Corrin Siefring paced Tippecanoe with 11 kills, eight digs and two aces. Abby Hughes added 14 digs and Emily Graham 21 assists. Tippecanoe improved to 20-1. Darien McBride scored nine kills and Abby Nuss 18 digs for Sidney.
