A fan at the Ryder Cup won a spot in the Heckler’s Hall of Fame by nailing a putt Team Europe members Rory McIlroy and Andy Sullivan could not during a practice round Thursday.

That's enough to get former NBA star Allen Iverson excited about practice.

The three-day event begins Friday at Hazeltine National in Chaska, Minn. The United States leads the all-time series 25-13-2, but Europe has won three in a row and eight of the last 10 competitions.
