Smith’s aunt April Rogers, of the Bronx, said she expected more than 100 people to attend the game in support of Smith.
“He’s done a lot for the team and the fans,” Rogers said. “The time went by so fast. I can’t believe the four years are here already. We’re going to miss him, and we’re still going to support Dayton. He’s so humble. He gets good grades. He’s doing well in school. We’re very proud of him.”
