Maybe Vegas wasn’t impressed with what the Bengals or Browns did in the NFL Draft?
Bovada released updated Super Bowl 53 odds Tuesday, and they have both Ohio teams bringing up the rear.
That’s right, a dollar bet on the Bengals or Browns will bring back $100 after both teams saw their odds get longer over the past month.
Those 100/1 odds are the worst in the league and put Cincinnati and Cleveland in a group with Buffalo, Miami, Chicago and the New York Jets.
The Bengals were at 90/1 on March 22 while the Browns were at 66/1.
(Those numbers all seem at least a little off, right? Or is it just me?)
The favorites are the New England Patriots (5/1), as they were in late March and right after they lost Super Bowl 53 to the Eagles, who are getting 8/1 odds as of now.
Rounding out the top six are the Rams (9/1), Steelers (10/1), Vikings (12/1) and Packers (12/1).
The only player with better offensive rookie of the year odds than Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield (11/4) is Giants running back Saquon Barkley (3/2).
In an obvious sign of disrespect to offensive linemen everywhere, Bengals first-round pick Billy Price isn’t listed among those odds.
