Someone wondered if Dragons players would surf on the field tarp during a long rain delay late Wednesday night at Fifth Third Field.
They got their answer well into the second delay of a 7-0 deficit to the West Michigan Whitecaps.

There were three hours and four minutes of two combined rain delays before the game was called. The game will resume at 6 p.m. on Thursday. Following its completion, the regularly scheduled Thursday game against the Whitecaps will be shorted to seven innings.
And Thursday’s forecast? More rain.
