Four-star 2020 recruit Keon Ambrose announced his college decision Sunday afternoon, picking Alabama over the Dayton Flyers and three other schools.
Ambrose, a 6-foot-8 forward from the International Sports Academy at Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby, Ohi0, put Dayton in his final five in September along with Arkansas, Alabama, Southern California and North Carolina State. He visited each of the schools this fall.
Ambrose took an official visit to UD in September and thanked Dayton Flyers coach Anthony Grant, the rest of the coaching staff and the academic staff on Twitter.

At that time, Ambrose told PhenomHoopReport, “Dayton has been recruiting me since Day 1! I love my conversations with head coach Anthony Grant and his vision for me with the Flyers. I enjoyed my official visit and was embraced by the whole community.”
Ambrose ranks 79th in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.com. Rivals.com ranks him 100th.
Dayton signed three players in the 2020 class last week: Lukas Frazier, Koby Brea and R.J. Blakney.
