Vegas has a pretty good feeling about the Bengals

Two houses like the odds of Cincinnati going better than .500 in 2017 season

The Bengals are still more than three weeks away from the beginning of training camp, but some of the fine folks in Las Vegas aren't waiting to make predictions about NFL teams and they kind of like Cincinnati.

The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook is putting the over-under on the Bengals’ regular season win total at 8.5, leaving bettors to either take the over -- which means that they’ll win nine or more games -- or under, which would mean Cincinnati will finish .500 or worse.

After SportLine ran the entire NFL regular season schedule through computer projection 10,000 times, it pegged the Bengals' over-under at 9.2 games, a better proposition for Cincinnati.

As for the rest of the AFC Central, the Browns are being frowned upon with over-unders set at 4.5/4.6, while the Steelers sport numbers of 10.5/9.9, and the Ravens settle in at 9.0/9.2.

There's more to be found on the Bengals, who open training camp July 28 on the practice fields just West of Paul Brown Stadium. The regular season opener will be Sept. 10 against Baltimore.
