It’s safe to call the late addition of Scooter Gennett a win for the Reds.

Gennett hammered his 22nd homer of the season against the Cubs in the third inning of an eventual 13-9 loss.

Gennett had an even bigger fly over the weekend. His grand slam helped the Reds defeat the Braves 11-8 on Saturday.
