Scooter Gennett had an interesting day in the Reds’ 15-5 loss to the Cubs.

The Cincinnati second baseman hit his 20th home run of the season, then took the mound for the eighth. He served a homer right back, courtesy of Javy Baez.

With baseball firmly in its dog days, Gennett gave fans something to talk about.

Javier Baez goes deep on Scooter Gennett & it's awesome.
