Women’s basketball: Dayton to play GW or Richmond in A-10 quarterfinals

Dayton (22-8, 15-1) closed the regular season Saturday with a 78-66 victory at Saint Louis. The Flyers won the regular-season title by two games over Virginia Commonwealth (18-11, 13-3).

Dayton seeks its first A-10 tournament championship since 2017 and its third overall. It also won in 2012.

The first-round games will be held on campus sites, while the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship game will be held at UD Arena. Dayton and No. 2 seed VCU received first-round byes.
